Purchase a copy of Pat's poems and support BCS ...In March 2009, Auckland woman Pat Donovan was diagnosed with breast cancer and she wrote about her experience in verse. We have featured Pat's poetry in our Personal Stories section (read her Mammogram poem here) and her husband Don has also contributed a truly wonderful story about his own journey as he supported Pat throughout hers.Pat has now published a limited edition of her poems, The Dreaded Diagnosis - The Positive Approach ($10) and has kindly offered to donate all proceeds from sales to Breast Cancer Support (BCS). BCS wishes to express sincere thanks to Mrs. Donovan for this wonderful donation towards our work supporting women throughout their breast cancer journeys. Each copy of The Dreaded Diagnosis is $10 and can be ordered through BCS. The poems … Pat wrote her poems hoping that they would help others undertaking a similar journey.
