Copy of Dancing arms up2Lymphoedema therapist Michele Urlich is running programmes of Healthy Steps (also known as Lebed) at the Cancer Society. This movement-to-music based exercise programme is beneficial for those recovering from all cancers and for those suffering from Lymphoedema. Attendance is limited to those with a diagnosis of cancer. Each programme runs for 6 weeks and is $5 per session for each participant ($30 for the course). Each class lasts one hour and participants use ‘props’ such as Top Hats, feather boas and belly dancing coin belts – lots of fun whilst doing something very positive for health and wellbeing. Email Michele for more information.
