Breast Cancer Support Inc. is a voluntary organisation in New Zealand run by women who have experienced breast cancer. There is a community of emotional and experiential support for those who are affected by breast cancer and we strive to empower women emotionally, on their journey with breast cancer, through a range of support forums.
BCS offers direct services to help women and their families in the greater Auckland area but can provide advice and information, via email and telephone, to women throughout New Zealand
Trained volunteers are available to speak with women by phone or to meet, one-to-one, over a cup of coffee or in hospital.
Breast Cancer Support Inc. facilitates support groups throughout the Auckland area. These Breast Friends groups are coordinated by trained facilitators and offer monthly fellowship and support to women with a present or past diagnosis of breast cancer in a relaxed and informal environment. If you have experienced breast cancer and would like to speak with someone who has shared a similar journey, or wish to join one of our Auckland area support groups, please email or call us. We can help.
